Hi guys, this weekend Holden and Ford will do battle at Bathurst in New South Wales Australia.  It all started in 1963 when Bathurst started there was Fords and Minis. In 1968 Holden launched the  v8 Monaro witch crushed Ford’s  V8 powered Falcon GT. In 1978 the Holden A9X torana  won and crushed the ford falcon. In 1999 Holden started it’s 7 year winning streak, then in 2006 ford started it’s 3 year winning streak.

Hi guys every week iam going to talk about a racing car and how it goes a the street. I got the idea from CC.

Hi it’s me again today I am going to talk about my favourite cars Holdens and mention some models.

First I will start with the Commodore. The Commodore is the Holden’s best selling car it is also the car they use in v8 supercars.

Next I will talk about the utes  theres the Colorado it’s the tough,big and you can take it any where.

And the Commodore ute which is the ute you can drive in the city.

V8 supercars is a racing series in Australia. It has Holden’s and Fords in a battle to be the best.They race in hot places like Darwin and Queensland and cold places like Tasmania.

The races are 20-50laps but There are 2 races e are 161 laps which are very challenging.V8 supercars have to make one pit stop through the race (20-50) lap races and five pit stops in the 161lap races.Teams do pit stops in 15 seconds.

So I think V8 supercars is really cool.

 The Dakar rally is a rally from Lisbon to Dakar .It is a rally through the desert and has stages as short as 100kms or as long as 500kms. So it is a great to win. Cheers.

Hi I am Braiden I am going to talk to you about rallying.  Rally is you try to beat the clock. Rallies are divided into stages which can be short or long.   In rallying you don’t race head to head and cars go into a stage 1 or 2 minutes apart but in tarmac events they go 30 seconds apart. The world rally championship is the biggest rally championship goes around the world.
